Mount Sinai Receives AAMC Grant for Chronic Illness Care

Mount Sinai School of Medicine received a prestigious AAMC Grant for Chronic Illness Care education. The $125,000 grant will "be used to redesign undergraduate and graduate medical education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine so the medical students and internal medicine residents can learn about and care for patients with chronic illness. The ultimate goal is to improve care of patients with chronic illness, both from the patient's and the healthcare team's perspectives."
