I am the founder and president of Accepted.com, one of the oldest admissions consultancies on the Internet. I teach applicants how to submit compelling applications that can earn them the fat acceptance envelope. Starting with editing application essays in 1994 and continuing with the launch of the Accepted.com Web site in 1996, dinosaur years in Internet history, my company and I have dedicated ourselves to providing exemplary service to our clients along with professional editing skills and an in-depth knowledge of the application process. We help applicants with:

• Personal Statements
• Application Essays
• Letters of Recommendation
• Resumes
• Curriculum Vitae
• Admission Interviews
• Wait List Letters
• Admissions Guidance

Oh but you wanted my bio, not a sales pitch!

I received my bachelors degree in political science from UCLA, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. After obtaining my MBA from UCLA’s Graduate School of Management in 1979, I worked in real estate and lending, took time off to start a family, and in 1992 founded my own writing and editing service.

Recognizing a demand for help with personal statements and application essays, I began helping students write clear, polished pieces that distinguish them from their competition. In 1996, as mentioned above, I launched the Accepted.com Web site. Over the years it has grown into an invaluable applicant resource. In addition, Accepted.com clients have been accepted to top colleges and graduate programs throughout the country – indeed around the world – Harvard, Stanford, Yale, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, Kellogg, UVA, NYU, INSEAD, MIT, LBS, Duke, Cornell, Michigan, UCSF, UC Berkley, UCLA, Michigan and a host of other fine programs.

In 2006 I co-founded the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants and in 2007 I because that organization's first president.
